To HODL in crypto means To Hold Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency in the long term. Many prefer this buy-and-hold idea rather than, let’s say, trading their bitcoin and altcoins often. HODL was also a misspelling that became a meme and strongly adopted by crypto communities with the need to be different from the normies 😉
